The Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Hats Off to Women of Distinction Awards & Expo, set for Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 200 N. Shary Road in Mission, Texas. Nominations close Jan. 16.
Nominations may be submitted in one of the following categories: STEM and digital innovation, environmental and agricultural achievement, emerging leader, media and journalism, community and social leadership, justice and legal advocacy, educational innovation, healthcare champion, diversity and inclusion, and financial leadership.
“This annual celebration recognizes Latina leaders whose work strengthens our communities and sets a standard of excellence for the region,” said Cynthia Sakulenzki, president and CEO of the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to honoring the women whose service and leadership continue to move the Valley forward.”
